Acworth Native Goes Pro and Races in Monster Energy AMA Supercross at GA Dome
Supercross racer David Buller Jr. will be racing this Saturday, February 25 at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross at the Georgia Dome. David Buller Jr. turned professional this year and is now racing in his first Supercross event. An Acworth native, the 19-year-old hometown boy has been racing for 12 years.
David Buller Jr. of Dragon Racing Fuels/ AG Motorsports will race in the 250 class during the day on Saturday with hopes of qualifying for the 15 lap Main Event that evening. This once a year event, the AMA Supercross, will attract 70,000 people to the Georgia Dome.
Come cheer on David Buller Jr. as he shows off his riding skills conquering singles and doubles that hurdle racers as high as 70-feet in the air and as far as 100-feet while battling for a top spot. Doors open and qualifying starts at 12:30 p.m. Mingle with riders including David Buller Jr., during the Pit Party from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Attendees can get photos and autographs.

The 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship Series, is one of 17 on this year’s schedule. Supercross is the sport of racing off-road motorcycles on artificially-made dirt tracks consisting of steep jumps and obstacles. Professional supercross contests are almost exclusively held within professional baseball and football stadiums.
