The City of Acworth Mayor and Board of Aldermen meeting will be held from 7 p.m. Thursday at the City Hall. It is the first regular City Council meeting of 2011.

Several Public Works related items are on the agenda, including the approval of a contract to be granted to Corley Contractors (C&L). Once the contract is approved, C&L will be able to begin the work on a 2005 SPLOST funded project that aims at improving the storm water flow on Willis Street.
