The first Georgia Gives Day, a 24-hour online “giveathon” sponsored by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, is a statewide fundraising initiative allowing Georgians to “give where you live.” The goal of Georgia Gives Day is for nonprofit organizations that benefit the state of Georgia to raise as much money as possible in a single day.
The Colored Rocks Foundation is excited to share a place in the pool of Georgia charities participating in this inaugural event which takes place from midnight Dec. 5 to midnight Dec. 6.
“This is an opportunity for Georgia residents, and Georgians at heart – in the spirit of the Christmas season – to point and click from the comfort of their home or office, and support the charity or cause of their choosing”, said Cheryl Dukes, director of the Colored Rocks Foundation.
If you would like to donate to The Colored Rocks Foundation on Georgia Gives Day, go to www.gagivesday.org and enter "Colored Rocks Foundation" in the "search keyword or name" field. The direct link is https://gagivesday.org/c/GGD/a/coloredrocks/donate/. Donations may be tax deductible and all donors receive receipts. Whether you give $10 or $10,000, your gift stays in Georgia and makes an impact at home.
Your support is greatly appreciated as The Colored Rocks Foundation continues to celebrate and graduate young men of color from Georgia’s high schools.
