GDOL to Assist Diversity Hiring with Cobb Career Expo

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will assist Diversity Hiring with a career expo in Cobb County Wednesday, Sept. 12. The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre, located at Two Galleria Parkway.

The expo will feature as many as 60 employers, educational institutions, and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. The employers will be hiring or discussing present and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

Among those expected to participate in the expo include: Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Charter Communications, Comcast, Consort Institute, Coremark, CVS, DeVry University, Drive Time, Genuine Parts Company, Georgia Army National Guard, Grand Canyon University, HBCUcareers.com, Keller School of Management, NAPA, Primerica, Prudential Insurance Company, University of Phoenix, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
