10th Annual Marietta/Cobb Career Expo Set for Sept. 19
The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will assist the City of Marietta and Cobb County with its 10th annual career expo Wednesday, Sept. 19. The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cobb County Civic Center, located at 548 South Marietta Parkway.
The expo will feature more than 25 employers, educational institutions, and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. The employers will be hiring or discussing present and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
Among those expected to participate in the expo include: AAA Auto Club Group, AFLAC, Adecco Staffing, Allied Barton Security Services, Brownstone Project, Clear Signal Networks, Cobb County Department of Public Safety, Cobb County and Georgia Local Search, Cobb Galleria/Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, DeVry/Keller University, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Durham Staffing Services, Executives and More Staffing, Hire Dynamics, Kelly Services, McDonald’s, MSC Industrial Supply, Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, Pawn Mart, Primerica, Perimeter Staffing, Shorter University, Snelling Professional Services, Sims F1 and F2, TME Enterprises/Taco Bell, and Volt Workforce Solutions.
