GDOL Will Help Flexible Staffing and UCall & IHaul Recruit Workers in Cobb County

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will conduct recruitments to help Flexible Staffing Solutions and UCall & IHaul Moving Services fill a number of jobs in Cobb County. Both recruitments will be held at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta.

On Thursday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Flexible Staffing will be recruiting about 80 assembly-line production workers. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have at least six months of warehouse or production experience, able to lift boxes less than 20 pounds, and stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced production environment.

Applicants must have at least two forms of identification, including a driver’s license, a state-issued picture-identification card, a birth certificate, or a U.S. Social Security Card.

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., UCall & IHaul, a residential moving and cleaning company, will be recruiting about 10 workers. Applicants must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED). They must be on-call and have a valid Class C driver’s license and their own transportation and insurance, because workers must travel to job sites to pack and unpack household goods, load and unload furniture, and clean-up designated areas. They must also be able to lift as much as 150 pounds by themselves.

Salaries range from $11-$17 an hour, depending on experience.
