The following North Cobb High School students have advanced to the state interview level in the application process for the Governor's Honors Program: Kearia Thornton and Mikaila Minott, Latin; Shelby Johnson, Spanish; Graham Husband, Megan Sonner and Nicholas Arehart, social studies; Megan Greene and Terynne Burgan, mathematics; Daniel Bozeman, communicative arts; Gerald McQuade, Natalie Miller-Ging and Shane Hornung, technology; Katrina Alano and Cody Slarks, design; Emily Crisp (soprano), Shelby Trotta (soprano) and Timothy Marshall (bass), music/voice; and Angelique Payne and Brian Gamel (theater). The state interviews and auditions will take place in late January and early February.
