North Cobb High School sent the largest delegation to the Georgia State Model United Nations Conference. The 50 North Cobb students portrayed diplomats from Bosnia and Herzogovina, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Iran, Mexico, and Pakistan. They brought home the following awards:
- Distinguished delegates—Graham Husband, Security Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina; Kristy Pilgrim and Kyle Rinaudo, General Assembly Plenary for Croatia; Megan Peng, Human Rights Council for Bosnia and Herzogovina; and Jacob Bearden, U.N. Development Program for Iran.
- Gavel Award—David Kim, Security Council for Mexico.
- Outstanding delegates—Rugaya Abaza and Gillian Stark, General Assembly Plenary for Iran.
