5 Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 26

Here are the things you should know before you head out the door.

 

1. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of snow showers during the day. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible. Going overnight into Monday morning, there is no snow predicted, and Monday is expected to be sunny with high near 34.

2. A First Sunday after Christmas Service will be held at Saint Teresa's Episcopal Church from 9 a.m.–12 p.m.  It is free and open to all.

3. Today is the last "I Hate the Holidays" session at Eagle Pointe Church in Acworth. The program is aimed at taking a deep look into the holiday season. It is open to all.

4. Come to the weekly Acworth Flea Market to find or sell all sorts of goodies including: clothing, jewelry and furnishings. It runs from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
