Acworth Police to Host Class for Parents and New Teen Drivers Tonight

The PRIDE program will address driver attitude, knowledge and behavior.

A free, national award-winning course designed to help parents and their new teen drivers will be offered in Acworth tonight.

The two-hour Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error (PRIDE) course begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Acworth Police Department.

Parents and teens between the ages of 14-16 will learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by Georgia law.

After tonight, PRIDE won't return to Cobb until Nov. 1 when it will be offered in Marietta.
