The 10th annual Marietta/Cobb Career Expo will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday at the Cobb County Civic Center located at 548 South Marietta Parkway in Marietta.

The expo will feature more than 25 employers, educational institutions, and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. The employers will be hiring or discussing present and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide educational and other resources.

Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

Some of the participating employers and service organizations include: Aflac, Amerigroup Community Care, Cobb Department of Public Safety, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, McDonald's, Mutual of Omaha, Primerica and the Brownstone Project.

Participating colleges include Kennesaw State University, DeVry University and Shorter University.
