Deal Appoints Acworth Man to Cobb Bench
Cobb State Court Judge Robert D. Leonard II will join the Superior Court bench.
Robert D. Leonard II, who has served as Division II judge of the State Court of Cobb County since his appointment in December 2010, will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Cobb Superior Judge George H. Kreeger, Deal's office announced in a news release.

Gov. Nathan Deal Wednesday appointed an Acworth man to the Cobb Superior Court bench.
Cobb State Court Judge Robert D. Leonard II, who has served in that capacity since December 2010, will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Cobb Superior Judge George H. Kreeger, Deal's office announced in a news release.
Leonard, who is married with three children, earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Kentucky, according to the release.
