Georgia Jobless Rate Jumps to 9.3%
July unemployment claims in Cobb County also increased by 4.5 percent.

The jobless rate in Georgia has jumped 3 tenths of a percentage point to 9.3 percent from June to July, says the Georgia Department of Labor.
State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said in a press release that the culprit for the spike was a large number of temporary manufacturing sector layoffs, but many of those workers have returned to work already.
First time claims for unemployment insurance jumped by over 15 percent from June, but are still 8.2 percent below the number of claims from this time last year.
In Cobb County, there was a 4.5 percent increase in first-time unemployment claims. There were 2,515 first time claims in July, up from 2,406 in June. This number is still below the 2,816 first time claims in July, 2011. Additionally, countywide first time claims have dropped 10.7 this year.
The labor force grew for the 14th time in 15 months, but the number of available jobs decreased due to the end of seasonal and temporary work in the state. There are still some 50,000 more jobs than were reported at this time in 2011.
The long-term unemployed, who have been out of work for more than 26 weeks and make up 51 percent of all unemployed in the state, dropped by 4,700 from June to July. There has been a 10.2 decline in long-term unemployment from July 2011 to July 2012.

That's no good...Obama obviously haven't done enough to solve our unemployment problems. However, I'm not so crazy about Romney Ryan either...and yet so many people, other conservatives...seem to believe this Mormon guy who makes a ton of money for himself will care if you have a job or not? I feel like we're back in that Bush vs. Gore time when people just voted for all the wrong candidates and end up with no good choice.

And I guess you could say solutions don't happen overnight...I do give credit to the President for at least trying...but I have problems with A LOT of the other things Democrats do...

As a person's life would encounter many misfortunes, a country would also encounter many of the troughs. As Beethoven's deafness was bad by the angle of naked eye, but, in deed, he created a lot of greatest music after his deafness. Whether personal or national, there must be the truth behind any withstand trials. In a way, we could see “experience” as “the equivalent” of John the Baptist who was the one to came to bear witness about the light.
