Why Go: Want to see some of the best travel ball teams duke it out in a great local tournament? The future of our national pastime is being forged right here.

3. Summer Concert Series: Hotel California
Where/When: 2828 Cherokee St NW, Kennesaw; Sunday, 6 p.m.
Why Go: Outdoor music and a fireworks show afterwards? What's not to like?
Pricing: Free, but bring a blanket or lawn chair from home
4. Poker Night
Where/When: Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery; Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m.
Why Go: You won't lose any real money, so what's the harm in playing a few hands before dinner?
Pricing: Free
Where/When: Henry's Uptown; Friday, 9 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
Why Go: As much as you love your kids, don't you need a couple hours away from them? Come enjoy the Lance Price Band's solo acoustic versions of all your favorite feel good songs.
