Cobb County Water System is looking for a meter services tech in nearby Marietta. The pay range is $12.45 to $18.98 an hour. According to the job description on the water system's website, the tech "turns on water meters to establish water service for new customers; ensures that meter is free of leaks; takes initial meter reading; (and) turns off and secures water meters to discontinue service in cases of closed accounts, unauthorized consumption, broken pipes or non-payment for services."
