It’s lunchtime in the Lake City, which means it’s the perfect time to celebrate our first winner of Best of Patch: Readers’ Choice, La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant.

La Parrilla clearly has a strong hold on the hearts and stomachs of Acworth, winning more than 40 percent of the votes to be named the favorite place for Latin American food among Acworth Patch readers.

“The food is consistently superb!” Acworth Patch user J Cliborn wrote in a five-star review of La Parrilla. “It is also a great place for a quick lunch!”

In addition to earning the public’s praise and some bragging rights, La Parrilla will get a framed certificate with the honor.

“We are honored to receive this commendation. It is only possible through the hard work our employees commit to,” said Diego Vasquez, the restaurant’s general manager. “We are all about creating a warm and friendly atmosphere where our guests do not only visit for a meal, but for the whole experience.”

Also garnering strong support in our Patch Poll were Rico’s Mex Mex Grill and Poblano’s Mexican Grill.
