North Cobb High School will be holding its Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally in Downtown Acworth on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at 7 p.m.

The parade will stage in the Acworth First Baptist Church parking lot and run South on Main Street, ending at the Lemon Street and Main Street intersection in the upper parking lot.

Main Street from Lemon to Morningside will be closed from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the event, and parking will be available at City Hall and the Acworth Public Library.

The parade will feature the football team, cheerleaders, several other athletic teams and academic clubs. Following the parade, there will be a Block Party in the upper lot in front of the Depot, featuring a Pep Rally, DJ, sidewalk sale, vendors, and a window decorating contest between all the local merchants.
