The Georgia Department of Labor Cobb-Cherokee Career Center will host two recruitment fairs this week, and one of them is for a company in North Cobb.

From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 4, CarMax Auto Finance will be looking for customer service representatives and collection agents. While not required, applicants are encouraged to apply online at www.carmaxautofinance.com/jobs.

And from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 5, Allied Barton Security will be looking for full-time and part-time security officers to work in the north metro Atlanta area, according to the GDOL.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least two years of security, military, or law enforcement experience, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. A reference from a previous employer and good customer service and communications skills also are required.

The job pays $9.74 an hour.
