The Ladies Night Out Fashion Show hosted by the PTS Sports Store is back. Taking place on Nov. 29 at the PTS Sports Store in Downtown Acworth, this event has a little of everything that women love – networking, cocktails, fashion show and discounts on a variety of popular endurance items.
And it's all for great cause.
Since 2003 Laura Hunter (LPN), founder of Moms on Call, has been at the forefront in providing vital educational resources to new parents looking to get a leg up in raising a newborn. Her resources have become internationally renowned and have positively affected millions of families. Now the woman that has helped so many now needs our help.
This wife, mother of five, pediatric nurse and business owner has been diagnosed with gastroparesis. Gastroparesis, or stomach paralysis, is a genetic disorder that has left this superwoman powerless and bedridden. Laura is undergoing treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. With mounting medical bills, the local community and all those who have been inspired by Laura’s gift of child rearing are coming together.
All of the proceeds collected from the Ladies Night Out entry and raffle will be donated directly to providing financial relief to Laura and her loving family.
"Laura is a great friend of mine and to our entire community," Emily Yake of PTS Sports said. "She has selflessly given to so many and enabled mothers to gain knowledge, joy and peace during the little years. Now it's time to give back."
Ladies Night Out will be a fun and exciting event that gives back to one worthy cause. This one night event will feature appetizers, cocktails and a sneak peak fashion show highlighting the latest in endurance wear. If that is not enough, up for grabs are a number of raffle prizes that have been donated by a number of local spas, restaurants and boutiques.
So, slip into your favorite heels and strut on over to the PTS Sports Store Ladies Night Out Fashion Show. It’s the perfect place to glam it up for a great cause.
