Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue Adopt-a-Thon Weekend
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. will be participating in an adopt-a-thon weekend this Saturday and Sunday, November 3 – 4, 2012, at PetsMart on Barrett Parkway from 11:30 am – 3:30 pm, as well as Sunday, November 4, 2012, at PetSupermarket at Ansley Mall.
Mostly Mutts works with local animal control officers to reduce the number of animals euthanized each year. In efforts to save as many animals lives’ this weekend, Mostly Mutts will bring in special “guest stars” featuring last call dogs from Cobb County Animal Control. Also featured this weekend will be the dogs and cats that are currently in the Mostly Mutts program and have already been pulled from animal control.
These loving animals are in animal control due to pet overpopulation. Preventing overpopulation is easy…spay and neuter your personal pets, adopt instead of buying from pets stores and breeders, and educate others to do the same. Mostly Mutts participates in adopt-a-thon weekends to save as many lives as we can.
“Adopting your next best friend not only fills your home with love, but also saves the lives of many sweet and friendly dogs and cats,” explains Paige O’Neill, founder of Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption. “The most important impact you can have is to educate your neighbors, your children, your friends, on how important it is to spay and neuter your animals. This is the only way we can prevent pet overpopulation.”

Mostly Mutts’ mission is to reduce the number of animals euthanized at local shelters. We pride ourselves on rescuing dogs with physical and emotional issues. Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3 charity, donations are tax deductible. Mostly Mutts works closely with animal control officers to save adoptable dogs that are moments away from being put to sleep; often times, these dogs are sick and injured and required rehabilitation.
