The Acworth Citizen of the Year will be announced during the Northwest Cobb Area Council luncheon, scheduled for Dec. 5 at the Marietta Country Club, 1400 Marietta Country Club Dr., Kennesaw.
General admission is $35. Members get a $10 discount at the door and a $20 discount if they register online.
Though the original deadline for online registration was noon Monday, it has been extended.
