Assistance for Local Veterans Available

Weather

Happening

The Veterans Information and Referral Office (VIRO) at 4315 Senator Russell Ave. (the Old Jail) in Acworth will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday to provide veterans with benefits information and resource referral within the community.

Veteran personnel and community volunteers including member of the American Legion will be on hand to help area veterans on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, and the second and fourth Saturdays. A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15 at noon.
