Cagle's Family Farm Opens Labor Day Weekend

It's time to bump along on an old-fashioned hayride, bounce on a huge jump-eee pillow, cheer on your favorite swine at the pig races, pan for gold, navigate the three miles of cornfield maze paths, pick a pumpkin and chow down on farm food when Cagle's Family Farm opens for the season on Aug. 30.

This year marks the 13th year the Cagle family has created a corn maze. 

"The maze design this year is an image of what kind of fall fun the farm has to offer such as pumpkins, hayrides, pig races, cows and more," explains Vicki Cagle, who along with her husband, Ben, operate the farm. “We look forward to this time every year, as we get to see familiar faces of families who make it an annual tradition to visit the farm, but lots of new faces too!” said Ben, in a press release.  “It makes it all worth it to see families having fun together!” added Vicki.

The Cagle family has been farming in Cherokee County since the 1930's - and Ben and Vicki continue the tradition today with their agri-tourism attractions and tours. The Cagle’s also host school group field trips during the week
