Cobb Adopt-a-Thon Planned for May 18
Donations of unopened cat and dog food will be accepted during the event.
Cobb County Animal Control is holding the year's first Adopt-a-Thon from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 18.
A special adoption rate will be offered at the event, which will be held at the Cobb County Animal Shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Dr.
In addition to pet adoptions, the event will feature K-9 demonstrations and raffles. Adopt-a-Thon volunteers will be on hand to collect donations of unopened cat and dog food.
