Deck the House: Heroux Crowned Acworth’s Winner
Joe Heroux was selected Patch's Town Winner for his house's Christmas decorations.
Joe Heroux was named the Town Winner for Acworth in Patch’s national Deck the House Contest Tuesday.
Heroux is one of 397 Town Winners named from across the nation, although those results are unofficial until Wednesday. His winning entry has been forwarded to a national Patch judge, who will select 24 finalists Friday.
Each of the 24 finalists will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill.

From Friday through Jan. 8, readers can vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch, which includes 22 states and the District of Columbia. The grand prize winner’s school district will receive a $100,000 check from Patch. All of the Town Winners can be viewed through the previously mentioned web link.
