Free Workshop Being Held for Small or Beginning Farmers
A workshop for small and/or beginning farmers is being offered on June 17, for residents of Cobb, Fulton, Douglas and Paulding counties. Registration must be completed by June 13.
A workshop for small and/or beginning farmers is being offered on June 17, for residents of Cobb, Fulton, Douglas and Paulding counties at the Cobb Water System Lab, 660 South Cobb Drive, Marietta, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is required.
Topics covered will be of interest to anyone contemplating farming, farmers just beginning or existing farmers with limited resources. Additionally, there will be, as part of the CSA portion, local farmers will share their stories of challenges and successes.
