Residents Can Honor Cobb Neighbors Who Foster Diversity

Nominations open for Creating Community Awards.

Cobb County wants to recognize those who perform good works and provide inspiration for those in the community.

Nominations are being accepted for the 2014 Creating Community Awards, which will be presented by the Cobb Board of Commissioners and the Cobb Community Relations Council. 

Nominees can be a person, team or organization that works for the inclusion of Cobb's diverse communities based on race or ethnicity, age, religious, disable or gender.

One recipient from each commission district will be chosen. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 17. Nominees from past years can be renominated.
