Construction begins a week from today on the Senator Russell Avenue Project, and the area from Dallas Street to Mill Street (alleyway) will be closed.
Construction will be done in two phases. The second section of Senator Russell Avenue from Morningside Drive to Mill Street will begin after phase I ends.
Throughout construction, public parking will be available in the City Hall lot, but vehicles will not be allowed to park along the rear of buildings. The Dallas Street loading zone will be available.
The Senator Russell Avenue beautification project will include curbs, gutters and sidewalks.
