February Art Show Features 'Romantic Places'

Exhibit at Gallery 4463 runs Jan. 29 to Feb. 23.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Gallery 4463 in Acworth is presenting a "Romantic Places" exhibit.

The show, which runs from Jan. 29 to Feb. 3, features the work of two member artists, Rosemary "Roma" Tyler and Robert Hoffenberg.

A gala opening will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests can meet the artists and enjoy free refreshments and 15 percent off the works.

According to a press release from the gallery, Rosemary Rowan Tyler, known as Roma, was born in New England, loves nature and has traveled the world marveling at the great art of the masters. 

She is a juried member of Santa Fe Art World, Oil Painters of America and American Society of Marine Artists. She has been a featured artist at ART-EXPO NEW YORK, ART-BUZZ 2008 as well as in Art Connoisseur Magazine and Artist Advocate. She has displayed at juried and invitational shows in New York, Santa Fe New Mexico, Naples and St. Petersburg.

Bob Hoffenberg’s art education included The Art Institute of Chicago and The School of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois, Urbana. He has worked as a designer of high-grade exotic shoes and boots.
