Gallery 4463 to Feature 'Favorite Things'

Show opens Dec. 4; opening gala is Dec. 7.

Gallery 4463 will feature the works of two member artists, Palma Rhoades and Connie Lyon, in its December show, “Favorite Things.”

The exhibit will feature oils and pastels done by both artists, with the show running Dec. 4-29. A gala opening will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. with opportunities to meet the artists and enjoy free refreshments.

Lyon says she hopes to show how much she enjoys painting in oil and pastel. One of her favorite subjects is glass at a window, and she tries to capture the beauty of light as it strikes the glass.

Rhoades says, “I have explored all mediums. A love of permanence has led me to choose oil and clay."
