Music Midtown 2014: Good Musical Lineup or Not?

Jack White, Eminem, John Mayer and the Zac Brown Band set to headline the September music festival at Piedmont Park.

On Tuesday, Live Nation Atlanta released the names of the musical acts for the 2014 Music Midtown festival set for Sept. 19 and 20 at Piedmont Park. 

The four headliners - Jack White, Eminem, John Mayer and the Zac Brown Band – will join 17 other acts for the festival that returns to the Midtown park for a fourth consecutive year.

Others scheduled to perform include: Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Iggy Azalea, Bastille, Run-D.M.C., Fitz and the Tantrums, Twenty One Pilots, NeedtoBreathe, B.o.B., Mayer Hawthorne, AER, The Strypes, Banks, Sleeper Agent, Magic Man, Bear Hands and Ron Pope.

New this year is the fact that single-day tickets will not be available. Only two-day passes at $125 a pop (up $15 from 2013) will be sold and they go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
