Chiropractic Business Hosts Summer Fun Festival

The celebration in Acworth included music and Cajun food for patients and community.

in Acworth hosted an “End of School” summer party Friday evening to thank their patient families and the community for a wonderful year in business.

Drs. Karen and Shawn Ferguson own the business at 4609 S. Main St. and offered free musical entertainment by the band Code Monaco, as well as a giant inflatable slide and great Cajun food catered by Henry’s Louisiana Grill in downtown Acworth.

“Henry from Henry’s gets adjusted here,” said Dr. Karen Ferguson, who explained that the celebration was especially for people they serve in their specialty wellness care practice. “Health is celebrating life and being grateful, so we like to host different events throughout the year to aid in celebrating life.”

The couple has four children and has been in business in Acworth for 15 years. “We love Acworth and feel we are very supportive of the Acworth businesses,” said Karen Ferguson, adding they believe that a healthy nervous system helps the body heal itself without the use of medications. “Our mission is to help patients take the power back to control their own health, and chiropractic is the key to that.”

During the celebration on a hot June evening, the office was filled with children and adults alike enjoying food, conversation and outdoor fun like hula hoops and a playground. Dr. Shawn Ferguson was busy adjusting patients and visiting with them. He also serves as chairman of the board of trustees for Life University in Marietta as well as Today’s Chiropractic Magazine.
