Company to Add 1,000 Jobs

The majority of openings are for customer service representatives.

Alorica, a leading provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, announced its plans recently to add more than 1,000 new jobs by the end of the year.

Some positions are seasonal employment opportunities, while others are permanent. The majority of openings are for customer service representatives.

Alorica’s job growth in Cobb County as well as in the industry, makes this a truly exciting announcement, said Brooks Mathis, Vice President of Economic Development with the Cobb Chamber.

“The addition of the new positions to their already growing 1,200 in Cobb will surely benefit the Town Center Area CID, Cobb County and Georgia. We are thrilled to have a company such as Alorica that leads the industry in growth and has an impressive international footprint,” Mathis said.

Career fairs are planned for Wednesday, July 25, from 5–9 p.m. and Saturday, July 28, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Alorica facility.

Candidates may also apply online at www.aloricajobs.com. Candidates should have general computer knowledge, good verbal communication, excellent customer service skills and a high school diploma (or GED). English and Bilingual Spanish speaking employees are needed. Management positions are also being hired.

The facility currently employs nearly 1,200 employees and will grow significantly in the next few months as our recruiting efforts get underway.
