Compass Self Storage Moves Into Acworth
Company announced Wednesday the purchase of the Lock Box Self Storage property, located at 5488 Wade Green Road in Acworth.

According to news release, Compass Self Storage, a member of the Amsdell family of companies, announced Wednesday the purchase of the Lock Box Self Storage property, located at 5488 Wade Green Road in Acworth.
The new storage center represents more than 42,000 net rentable square feet and will be operated by Compass Self Storage. This store will be the fifth location operating under the Compass flag in Georgia and marks the tenth acquisition in the past twelve months.

The new storage center represents more than 42,000 net rentable square feet and will be operated by Compass Self Storage. This store will be the fifth location operating under the Compass flag in Georgia and marks the tenth acquisition in the past twelve months.
"We look forward to servicing the moving and storage needs of our new customers in Acworth with the acquisition of this self storage center," Todd Amsdell, president, said in a news release.
This acquisition gives Compass a larger footprint in the greater Atlanta market, where there are currently four other Compass Self Storage centers. Company growth is projected to continue in 2014 with the acquisition and development of quality storage properties in select markets.
This facility offers drive up storage unit access, outdoor parking, digital surveillance, online payment options and a full line of moving and packing supplies.
