Dogwood Growlers Opens in Acworth, Cherokee

The store will also sell growlers, which residents can purchase and take home beer in a sealed, air tight container.

A business featuring beers from craft and local breweries has opened in the southwest part of Cherokee County.

Dogwood Growlers is now open at 6215 Bells Ferry Road, with an Acworth mailing address. The store is located on the thoroughfare between Highway 92 and Bascomb Carmel Road near Towne Lake.
"We opened this store because of our love of good beer and saw a need for it in the Acworth (and) Woodstock area," the company wrote on their website.

Owned and operated by Ernesto Guzman and his family, Dogwood Growlers opened last week and has 20 beers on tap so residents can sample brews before they buy them. They also have scores of other beers in bottles or cans for customers to purchase.

The store will also sell growlers, which residents can purchase and take home beer in a sealed, air tight container.

The company also has a Facebook page where they've been sharing updates with their followers.

Their hours of operation are from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
