Frightfully Fun Networking Event

Come join Cobb's 12 business associations, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Paulding Chamber of Commerce and others Tuesday at Six Flags for an after-hours networking event that's one-of-a-kind.

Following the success of the first ever joint Cobb County business association networking event, the Summer J.A.M., comes the networking event of the fall season, the October Haunt After Hours event.

This private party event, organized by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and the South Cobb Business Association, will take place on Tuesday at Six Flags Over Georgia from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

“This will prove to be one of the flagship events in networking for Cobb County,” saod SCBA President Wayne Dodd. “The Cobb County Chamber has been unsurpassed in its efforts to promote this jointly held After Hours with all of its resources and staff to make it the success that it is becoming!”

After-Hours attendees will have a chance to network with businesses and community members from all over Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties. All 12 Cobb business associations, the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce and 21 corporate sponsors–including Patch–are coming together to support and attend this fall event.

In addition to prime networking, attendees will have the chance to ride Six Flags coasters like the new Dare Devil Dive and Goliath, to win prizes in a costume competition and to play various games. However, the event is inappropriate for children, who are not permitted to the event.

"It is our commitment to continue to develop in the future many similar events that promote all of us in Cobb County and beyond because there is strength in numbers, and we are definitely a more viable force together than apart," Dodd stated in an email.

For more information or to register and pay the event's $10 admission fee,  visit www.cobbafterhours.com. Attendees can also pay the fee on-site the night of the event. The $10 fee covers admission, rides, catered food, beer and wine.
