Henry’s Louisiana Grill is once again serving up some of the Acworth restaurant's favorite dishes for a good cause: the SafePath Culinary Tour & Competition: Good Eatin’ Great Cause on Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Cobb Galleria Exhibit Hall from 6 to 10 p.m.

Chef Henry Chandler plans to showcase a variety of favorite dishes: Sautéed Jumbo Shrimp tossed in Henry's Pepper Jelly; a spicy Louisiana favorite made with chicken and andouille sausage, served over rice, and world famous Bread Pudding, featuring Chef’s special combination of French bread, warm custard, cinnamon, raisins, nutmeg and a few family secrets.

The event will also auction off a private dinner for six hosted and prepared by the chef himself.

Good Eatin’ Great Cause will showcase more than 30 Georgia chefs, who will be serving their signature dishes tapas style. A judged team cook-off competition will include local celebrity chefs serving as mentors to up-and-coming talent. The event will also include an auction of cooking-related items.

“I am pleased to be invited back to Good Eatin’ Great Cause to support SafePath’s vital mission to improve the lives of children who are victims of abuse,” said Chef Chandler, owner of Henry’s Louisiana Grill. “This event is also a wonderful way to connect with the community by getting to know each other and sharing delicious food.”

SafePath is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children who are victims of abuse.  Tickets for Good Eatin’ Great Cause are available through SafePath or at the door.
