Investment Firm Acquires Acworth Medical Complex

The office building provides medical services such as nursing and cardiac imaging.

The 39,000 sq. ft. medical building on Main Street in Acworth is now owned by a California-based real estate investment firm.

Acworth Medical Complex was acquired by American Healthcare Investors and Griffin Capital Corporation for an undisclosed amount from a group of unaffiliated third party investors, The Marietta Daily Journal reports.

The office building, which is 83 percent occupied, houses tenants from Emory Healthcare and Northside Hospital, and provides services such as cardiac imaging, cancer care, and nursing.

Dan Prosky, president of American Healthcare Investors, said the building was home to two of the top hospital systems in Atlanta, andΒ an attractive and modern piece of architecture.Β
