Acworth Patch: What is the best thing about Acworth?

Kellam: Acworth is a great city. It has a very pro-business climate. The Acworth business association is a great group of people that move business forward in the city of Acworth.

Acworth Patch: How long have you lived in Acworth?

Kellam: 22 years.

Acworth Patch: Why did you pick this particular kind of business?

Kellam: I’ve always wanted to own a barbecue restaurant. Bar-B-Cutie started franchising about six years ago and I’ve eaten in Bar-B-Cutie restaurants for over 25 years. I took the opportunity to have one of the first franchises in the company. We have been at our location for five years.

Acworth Patch: What are some of the services you offer that people don't know about?

Kellam: People don’t realize that even though be are a barbecue restaurant, we are a family restaurant. You can eat here for a week and not eat barbecue. We serve turkey and dressing 365 days a year. We have country fried steak. We have 17 fresh vegetables. We have roast beef and gravy, great turkey and great barbecue. And we do a great job of catering. We have catered anywhere from 20 people to 1,000 so far. We have an extensive catering menu and if people don’t see what they like we can create special menus for specific events.

Acworth Patch: Is there anything else you would like to share about your business?

Kellam: We are a fun family restaurant located in Acworth. We are open seven days a week. Come by and give us a try.
