Acworth Patch: What is the best thing about Acworth?

McHargue: The best thing is the small town feeling and the friendliness. I like this city because it is small. You don’t have to fight a lot of traffic to get here. Acworth is very quaint.

Acworth Patch: How long have you lived in Acworth?

McHargue: Six years.

Acworth Patch: Why did you choose to open up your business in Acworth?

McHargue: I looked a lot of different areas but I liked the feeling that I got when I came to downtown Acworth. I like the quaint little shops and the railroad tracks going right through the center of town. It is just a lovely place.

Acworth Patch: Why did you pick this particular kind of business?

McHargue: I picked this business because I have had previous retail experience in the jewelry business and I absolutely loved it. I loved the people I worked for. I needed something I’d like to continue doing. That was in Pennsylvania, and when my husband was transferred back to Georgia, I didn’t have a job here. I wasn’t happy staying at home, so I decided; why not open my own jewelry store?

Acworth Patch: What are some of the services you offer that people don't know about?

McHargue: We have a layaway plan. We do ear piercing. We do jewelry and watch repair. We just started carrying Vera Bradley. We also carry Pandora. We carry Belleetoile. It’s a really fun line of sterling silver jewelry, mostly enamel.

Acworth Patch: Is there anything else you would like to share about your business?

McHargue: I would love to see it grow. We have excellent staff that is very friendly and customer oriented.
