Acworth Patch contributor April Zlotnik talked with Brian Aaron, owner of .

Acworth Patch: What's the hardest thing about being a small-business owner in Acworth?

Brian Aaron: The hardest thing for a lot of us in the past several years has been the economy. I don’t think it’s very relevant to Acworth. There is nothing negative specific to where we are located.

Acworth Patch: What's the best thing about your job?

Aaron: The best thing about my job is it’s like Christmas every day. I really enjoy working with people, like our staff, customers and vendors. We are in the furniture business so every day we get different stuff in. It’s not the same old stuff. It changes day by day, hour to hour. It is very diverse.

Acworth Patch: What is the best thing about Acworth?

Aaron: I have been here all my life. It still has the small town feel but has diversified a lot over the years. Acworth has nice people who have good conservative values.

Acworth Patch: Why did you choose to open up your business in Acworth?

Aaron: We opened in Woodstock and moved to Acworth. But we chose the location because of where we lived.

Acworth Patch: Why did you pick this particular kind of business?

Aaron: We were actually in the close out and salvage business and it evolved over to furniture over the years. It was not really planned.

Acworth Patch: What are some of the services you offer that people don't know about?

Aaron: The Acworth store warehouse is here with the showroom, so people can actually find something and take it home with them. People don’t know that we do same day delivery and financing. We offer one year interest free. We also have interior design help in the store.

Acworth Patch: Is there anything else you would like to share about your business?

Aaron: I really enjoy it. The staff is like a big family. It is still a family owned and operated business. We have two locations. The location in Hiram opened in 2005.
