Insurance company State Farm is handing out 40 $25,000 grants for community improvement projects around the U.S. and Canada.

According to a press release, the ‘Cause an Effect’ program is “a new, youth-led, crowd-sourced philanthropic initiative that relies on local, non-profit organizations to create solutions to community issues identified by consumers.”

Projects can be submitted through State Farm’s Facebook page. The State Farm Youth Advisory Board, a group of 30 high school and college students, will review the submissions and help State Farm select 100 finalists.
