Here are the things you need to know before you start your day on June 16.

High temp is near 92 degrees, with calm wind between 5 and 10 mph, and gust as high as 15 mph. Temperature will drop to a low of 65 tonight, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m.

2. In case you missed it. : The Simpson Pool in Acworth participated in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson Tuesday. It was one of the hundreds of waterparks, community pools and other aquatic facilities from 34 states, five countries that took part in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record while raising awareness about drowning prevention.

The AFCA provides competitive and instructional football and cheerleading opportunities for children between the ages of 5 and 12.
