5 Things: Challenge Grant to Award Outstanding Seniors

2. In case you missed it. : More than 250 classic cars took over the streets of Historic Downtown Acworth this past weekend. Hundreds showed up to enjoy an evening of car show, and downtown dinning and shopping.

3. Happening now. News from the Allatoona High School PTSA: For the first time, will be awarding letters for academic excellence to seniors. It is anticipated that 90 graduating seniors will qualify for the honor, which requires a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

4. Ahead on Acworth Patch. The Association of American Publishers (AAP), reported in its April 15 edition of AAP Insider that ebook sales were up 200% this February from the same time last year. They also reported that it was the most popular format, ranking above even paperback and hardback in all types of Trade publishing.
