5 Things: Flag Day, World's Largest Swimming Lesson

Here are the things you need to know before you start the day on June 14.

3. Happening. Swimmers around the world will be making a splash in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record today at 11 a.m. ET.

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson will take place at Simpson Pool at 1153 Norfolk Dr. in Acworth as well as hundreds of waterparks, community pools and other aquatic facilities across the nation to raise awareness about drowning prevention through swimming lessons at a young age. The lessons are free and open to anyone who wants to participate. Check here for a complete list of aquatic facilities participating.
