5 Things: North Cobb Homecoming Parade
Here are the things you need to know before starting the day on Oct. 6.
1. Weather. Sunny weather is in for today, with a high near 81 and calm wind between 5 and 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight is expected to be clear, with a low around 53.
2. In case you missed it. : The Spotlight event gives children and teens from Acworth and other Metro Atlanta communities a chance to show off their talent.
3. Happening. Patch will be covering tonight's Homecoming Parade in Historic Downtown Acworth. The parade will start at 7 p.m. at the , then head south on Main Street to the intersection of Main Street and Lemon Street, followed by a pep rally.
