5 Things: Tap and Ballet Classes Start Today

Here are the things you need to know before heading out the door on June 7.

2. In case you missed it. : The inaugural PT Solutions Allatoona Triathlon was held on Sunday at Dallas Landing Park in Acworth, attracting athletes from all over north Georgia.

: The Cobb County Board of Education approved the hiring of Michael Hinojosa as superintendent, effective July 1. Hinojosa's base salary is $237,000, and he also has an $800 per month automobile allowance, not including gasoline reimbursement.

3. Happening. Tap/Ballet classes offered by the Acworth Parks and Recreation Department start today. This year's theme is "Fairytale Princess Summer", and the class will be held at Roberts School Community and Education Center for children ages 3 to 6.
