5 Things: Women's Networking Group Meets

Here are the things you need to know before starting your day on July 19.

1. Weather. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, with the rest of the day expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 93 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms early evening is in the forecast for tonight, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 71.

2. In case you missed it. Local College Helps Retrain Displaced Workers: If you've recently been laid off or graduated from high school, Chattahoochee Tech wants to help you get to work.

3. Happening. Ladies on the Go networking group is a long-standing partner of the Acworth Business Association. It is a free organization for women to join, and provide an opportunity for women in business to network. The group meets every Tuesday at O'Charley's Restaurant at 704 Townpark Lane in Kennesaw.
