Ever wanted to learn about mountain biking?
The Cobb County Parks, Recreation, Cultural Affairs Department will offer an "Intro to Mountain Biking" course from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday that will include a short ride on the Allatoona Creek trail.
In addition to the basics of mountain biking, park staff will discuss safety, trail etiquette, mounting, dismounting, shifting, braking and climbing hills.
The course, which is $2 per person, is open to people who are at least 10 years old. All children under 16 must have a parent with them. Registration is required as the class is limited to 30 participants.
