Celebrating Shark Week in Metro Atlanta

Terror? Fascination? Eagerness to "know thy enemy?" We're not sure what it is that draws the masses to shark week, but the phenomenon has taken on a life of it's own on the Discovery Channel.

And, this week it's going to be big.

There are multiple ways to celebrate the 25th anniversary Shark Week.

First, the Georgia Aquarium is an official partner with Discovery Channel's Shark Week, so this means there will be exclusive online streaming of its Ocean Voyager exhibit with an underwater, 360-degree "Shark Cam."

At the metro-Atlanta attraction, there also are special behind-the-scenes tours of shark exhibits and the "Gentle Giants Swim and Dive" program will have a special focus on sharks.
